Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parent or guardian permission.

2. Account Registration

You may register through supported sign-in methods (for example email/password or social sign-in, where available). You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful activity or in violation of applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with App systems.
• Scrape or systematically extract data from the App without permission.
• Impersonate others or submit false registration information.
• Transmit malware, spam, or harmful content through the App.

4. Email Forwarding Fair Use

If you use auto sync features that rely on forwarding brokerage confirmations, you agree to forward only messages from accounts you are authorized to use, and only for supported import use cases.

We may suspend forwarding/import processing or your account if we detect misuse, spam, or excessive abuse.

5. No Financial Advice

SmartFolio is an informational portfolio and market-tracking tool. Nothing in the App is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. All investment decisions are your responsibility.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features may require paid subscriptions. Payment processing is handled by third-party platforms and subject to their billing terms, renewal rules, and refund policies.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including design, code, branding, and content created by us, is owned by SmartFolio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, complete accuracy of market data, or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartFolio and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms are violated, especially in cases of abuse, spam, fraud, or security risk.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Pakistan courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice for material changes before they take effect. Continued use after the notice period means acceptance of the revised Terms.
